Client Care Manager

We seek a motivated, team-oriented candidate interested in supporting individuals and families who are facing homelessness, while also providing direct supervision to a team of client care specialists/case managers. The candidate should be creative, persistent, and kind, as well as enjoy collaborating with a large network of community supporters. The ideal Client Care Manager will have 3 to 5 years of case management experience with relevant training in the human service and/or mental health field, as well as experience supervising staff. This position requires the ability to prioritize while on the go, multi-task, and adapt quickly in a constantly changing environment while also providing the highest level of professional care. Must be an excellent communicator able to build effective relationships with staff, clients, and community partners.

Development Coordinator

Knox County Homeless Coalition is seeking an organized, creative, and compassionate individual to support the fundraising, development, and public/media relationships of our mission-driven organization. The Development Coordinator will be actively involved supporting strategic goals, including but not limited to specific giving programs, events, marketing, new and ongoing campaigns, donor relationship and media communications. Applicant should have excellent writing/communicating skills with an eye for detail and the ability to relate to various audiences. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in development, media relations, or fundraising. Working knowledge of web and print publishing (Mail Chimp, Squarespace, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite) is preferred. Applicants should be self-driven, good with time management and able to juggle multiple projects at a time with strict deadlines.

Grant Writer

The Grant Writer will support KCHC in identifying, researching, applying for funding to support general operations, new and ongoing programming, and special initiatives. Ideal candidate should be an excellent writer/communicator with proven experience, who loves creative and strategic problem solving, pays attention to detail and is highly organized. Reporting to the Director of Development, the Grant Writer's responsibilities include but are not limited to identifying prospective corporate, foundation, government, and private funding opportunities; researching, developing, and writing letters of inquiry and grant proposals, as well as crafting follow-up grant reports. Applicants should be self-driven, goal oriented and able to adhere to strict deadlines. This position may be full-time or part-time depending on the right candidate. Scheduling can be flexible as long as consistent.

Knowledge of community resources and services for children and adolescents a plus.

Overnight Support Staff

Knox County Homeless Coalition is seeking an Overnight Support Staff for our Hospitality House Family Shelter. This is an entry-level position in a growing and exciting organization with opportunity for advancement for team players who demonstrate commitment, passion, and dedication. Overnight staff is responsible for ensuring a safe and secure environment for all shelter residents. Candidates should have a caring heart and be comfortable maintaining good boundaries while working with people in crisis. High School diploma or equivalent required. Experience working in residential programs, client support, health and human services or the medical field a plus.
